Hot off the launch of These Wicked Rivers' new single, Black Gold and ahead of the imminently sold-out headliner this winter, I'd like to welcome Arran Day from These Wicked Rivers to the Dan's Guitar Store family and thank him for his patronage!
Established in 2014, These Wicked Rivers are Derby’s entry to the new wave of rock and roll that is sweeping across the United Kingdom. Drawing influence from the well of rock legends and blues greats, the band have made quite an impact since their inception with their unique brand of blues-infused modern rock.
With a reputation for soulful-bordering-on-spiritual live performances, timeless songcraft and… lampshades, the band promises to crank things up a notch at the forthcoming shows. Expect to hear new music from the Rivers’ hotly anticipated 3rd album, Force of Nature.
On why Arran chose Dan's Guitar Store, he said, "As somebody that picks really hard and historically goes through 3/4 plectrums per gig it’s amazing to be playing with something that can survive several shows and still be able to hit every note even then.
